Vector Sigma is an important artefact that exists in most (if not all) Transformers universes. It is a sentient computer system of incalculable intelligence and power and is said to contain the essence of Primus himself. The system looks like a large, glowing, crystalline tangerine and dwells deep within Cybertron's inner core. It carries out the will of Primus and infuses new Transformers with sparks, blessing otherwise unfeeling machines with the essence of life itself.
While unconfirmed, it is speculated that each Vector Sigma in each different Transformers universe is connected to one another, forming an infinitely expansive multiversal network. Each of the different "nodes" of the network can be accessed by their universe's Cybertronian inhabitants through the use of a special circuit key, allowing Transformers to communicate directly with Vector Sigma and even merge with it. The Key to Vector Sigma is usually protected by a guardian. In the Generation One and Prime TV shows, that guardian was Alpha Trion, one of The Thirteen.
