The War-Armour is a hi-tech battlesuit built by Dr. Robotnik. It appears in Sonic the Comic Issues 81 and 82 in the Sonic's World story "Revolution".
History[]
When Commander Brutus invaded the Metropolis Zone as part of his Badnik Revolution, Dr. Robotnik sent out his own Badnik army to clash with Brutus'. As his forces fell in battle to Brutus' superior Badniks, the doctor attempted to use a self-destruct device to destroy Brutus, only to discover that his treacherous commander had disabled his self-destruct circuit. The doctor and Grimer retreated to the lower levels of Citadel Robotnik where Robotnik's prototype War-Armour was waiting.
Designed for the doctor's personal use, this suit was reinforced with Megatal alloy and, as such, was able to take a great deal of punishment when Robotnik used it to battle Brutus. Brutus appeared to be too strong for Robotnik to defeat hand-to-hand, but the War-Armour was equipped with a liquid nitrogen spray which Robotnik doused Brutus with. The liquid nitrogen froze Brutus solid, the extreme cold weakening his metallic body, which Robotnik then smashed to pieces with a single punch.
Trivia[]
- Robotnik's War-Armour has a distinctive green and purple colour scheme, much like the battle-suit worn by DC Comics' super-villain, Lex Luthor.
