The E-105 was a mass-produced robotic soldier created by Dr. Eggman in Archie Comics' Sonic the Hedgehog series. They were a short-lived serialized variant based on the E-100 Series frame.
Description[]
The E-105 was a vaguely humanoid robot that closely resembled those of the E-100 line. They had rounded bodies, flat heads, spindly limbs and were black all over aside from their red optic sensors. They each carried an energy cannon on their right arm.
History[]
In 3236, Dr. Eggman launched an invasion of Feral Forest, commanding an army of E-105 units. At the time of the invasion, Geoffrey St. John and Hershey Cat of the Acorn Secret Service had just tracked down the self-exiled Prince Elias Acorn, who had settled in the area with his new wife Megan and their infant child. The E-105 army located the agents and the prince, taking them to Dr. Eggman as prisoners. However, the doctor's invasion was thwarted when Sonic the Hedgehog and Princess Sally Acorn arrived in the area and rallied the locals into fighting back against Eggman's forces. The E-105 robots were all destroyed and Eggman himself fled from the area.
Over a year later, some remaining E-105 units were a part of a massive Badnik army sent to bring down the forcefield surrounding the ruins of Robotropolis, which would have resulted in nuclear radiation being released across the continent. The army was completely destroyed by the Acorn Army and the Chaotix.
