The PE-08BE Powered Exoskeleton System, codenamed "Cuirass-1", is a heavy-duty combat armature used by the U.S. military in Binary Domain. Well-armoured and equipped with heavy machine guns, rockets and smoke bombs, the Cuirass-1's pose a significant threat in any land-based battle. Dan Marshall and his Rust Crew are forced to fight a squad of these units towards the end of their mission in Japan after being betrayed by Phillips.
